Salary: SGD 200,900 - 200,900 / annual
Coinbase Singapore is building a robust compliance function to support Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) regulatory obligations. As Compliance Manager, you will lead end-to-end project management for the Capital Markets Services (CMS) licensing program, partnering with the Singapore Chief Compliance Officer and cross-functional teams across Compliance, Legal, Risk, Product, and Operations.
Key responsibilities include: driving the CMS license application workstream with rigorous project management, action tracking, and escalation protocols; owning preparation of regulatory submissions, governance materials, and supporting documentation; drafting and maintaining Singapore-specific compliance policies, procedures, and controls aligned with MAS requirements and Securities and Futures Act obligations; strengthening AML/CFT, sanctions, and regulatory compliance frameworks; preparing written materials for senior management, the Board, auditors, and regulators including governance decks and risk assessments; tracking regulatory commitments and remediation actions from audits or regulatory feedback; supporting regulatory inspections and information requests; and leading compliance training and awareness initiatives.
You will need 10+ years of regulatory and financial crime compliance experience at MAS/SFA-regulated Singapore entities, with direct experience supporting license applications or major regulatory programs. Strong knowledge of the MAS Securities and Futures Act, regulations, notices, and circulars is essential. You must demonstrate excellent program management skills, ability to synthesize complex regulatory issues into clear analysis, and proven cross-functional collaboration. Bachelor's degree in law, finance, business, or related field required. The role is based in Singapore with quarterly in-person working sessions (surges) expected.
