Revolut is seeking an experienced Regulatory Compliance Manager to join its Compliance team in Mexico City. This role is critical to safeguarding operations and ensuring compliance in the rapidly evolving fintech regulatory landscape.
You will serve as a second line of defense (2LoD) compliance advisor, providing oversight to ensure Revolut meets regulatory requirements while delivering positive customer outcomes. Your responsibilities include advising the business on compliance requirements and controls for banking operations, interpreting complex regulatory frameworks and translating them into actionable business requirements, and liaising with regulatory bodies on inspections and day-to-day inquiries.
Key responsibilities encompass identifying, assessing, monitoring, and reporting on compliance risks specific to MiFID II investment firm operations, including Market Abuse Regulation (MAR) and Personal Account Dealing requirements. You will develop and implement compliance management systems focused on delivering compliant customer outcomes, manage training programs, review marketing communications, and analyze customer complaints. You'll ensure scheduled monitoring activities are executed and findings are properly followed up on, continuously optimizing the Compliance Monitoring Plan.
You will collaborate with global Regulatory Compliance Managers to ensure local risk management frameworks and processes align with global standards, contributing to Revolut's mission of delivering financial products that give customers more visibility, control, and freedom.
The ideal candidate brings 2+ years of compliance risk management experience in an investment firm, consultancy, or regulatory body, with deep understanding of investment firm regulatory requirements. You should excel under pressure, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines. Expertise in regulatory gap analysis, policy creation and implementation, and consumer protection regulations is essential. A commitment to continuous learning and skill development in the compliance domain is critical.
