Local Infusion is the fastest-growing infusion company in the United States, transforming specialty infusion care delivery for patients with chronic autoimmune disease. The company operates care centers across 13+ states and is expanding rapidly, with a focus on patient experience, technology, and clinical integration to deliver lower costs and enhanced outcomes.
As Regional Vice President of Business Development for the Central region (CO/IN/MO/OH), you will serve as the regional strategy architect and chief growth driver, responsible for building and leading the go-to-market engine that drives patient referrals and revenue to infusion centers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Growth Strategy: Contribute to creation of scalable tools, playbooks, and trainings. Set and align monthly, quarterly, and annual targets with corporate OKRs. Analyze market data to prioritize expansion geographies and new service lines.
Team Leadership: Directly manage 8-10 Business Development Reps. Recruit, hire, onboard, and coach team members. Conduct weekly 1:1s, Account Plan Reviews, and trainings to sharpen skills and accountability. Foster a culture of ownership, excellence, and persistence. Model excellence by being in the field with your team.
Partnership Development: Cultivate relationships with high-volume specialist offices, health systems, payers, and pharma representatives. Structure co-marketing and education programs to boost brand recognition and referral pull-through.
Cross-Functional Execution: Partner with Operations to ensure seamless referral-to-treatment handoffs. Work with internal teams to relay market feedback and sharpen messaging. Own CRM hygiene and reporting standards.
Revenue Accountability: Deliver referral-volume and revenue goals for your territory. Present performance insights and forecasts to executive leadership.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- 10+ years of business development experience in healthcare (infusion, physician services, specialty pharma preferred)
- 5+ years as a proven people manager, with demonstrated success building and scaling referral hunter teams that beat quota
- History of meeting or exceeding sales goals, both personally and by managing teams
- Competitive spirit with customer-focused attitude
- Consistently positive attitude with commitment to ongoing self-development
- Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills
- Excellent listening skills and ability to uncover pain points and identify opportunities
- Proficiency in CRM systems and standard office software
- Experience working directly with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff members
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time, with overnight travel expected
- Must be located near a major airport in Indiana or Ohio
