GitLab is seeking a Regional Sales Director for Brazil to lead a high-performing team of Strategic Account Leaders focused on growing adoption of GitLab's AI-powered DevSecOps platform across the LATAM region. Reporting to the AVP of LATAM Sales, you will be responsible for managing software sales, bookings, and revenue while building strong relationships with new and existing customers.
Key responsibilities include leading and coaching a team of Strategic Account Leaders to deliver sales results; developing territory and industry strategies by analyzing market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive trends; owning accurate sales forecasts and growth strategies aligned with GitLab's revenue goals; establishing and tracking key performance metrics; collaborating with Renewals, Marketing, and cross-functional partners on pipeline health and deal execution; recruiting and onboarding top sales talent; and creating a high-performing, inclusive team culture through coaching and development.
You will educate and enable your team on GitLab's product, pricing, AI-powered DevSecOps positioning, and relevant industry and regulatory factors for Brazil markets. In your first year, focus will be on building strong team culture, deepening GitLab's presence with Brazil clients, and consistently meeting or exceeding performance objectives.
Required experience includes progressive field sales and sales operations background in open source software, DevOps, or SaaS environments; demonstrated success leading and developing account-focused sales teams with hiring, coaching, and performance management; proven track record of meeting revenue and pipeline targets; experience building go-to-market strategies for the Brazil market with willingness to participate directly in selling; commercial and analytical skills to interpret sales performance data; practical experience with CRM and sales tools like Salesforce, Clari, and Marketo; ability to analyze market trends and competitive dynamics; strong relationship-building, negotiation, and executive-level communication skills; and alignment with GitLab's values and interest in open source.
