Quilt is a venture-backed climate tech company reinventing heat pump systems and the HVAC distribution model. The company makes beautifully designed, AI-optimized heat pump systems paired with software that helps HVAC contractors sell, install, and service more efficiently. Quilt sells exclusively through a network of ~160 certified HVAC contractor partners across the US and Canada.
As Regional Partner Sales Manager for the Mid-Atlantic, you will own Quilt's partner channel across the region, balancing two core responsibilities: growing existing certified partners (75% of time) and recruiting new contractor partners (25% of time). This is a field-based role with 50–75% regional travel required.
Growing Existing Partners: You'll be the primary relationship owner for all certified Quilt partners in the Mid-Atlantic, building trust-based relationships with owner-operators and their teams. This includes regular field visits for in-person check-ins, sales coaching, and ride-alongs with partner sales reps and installation crews. You'll deliver product and sales training covering both technical install quality and customer-facing sales techniques. You'll monitor partner metrics (install volume, revenue, customer satisfaction) and develop action plans to accelerate underperforming partners. You'll coordinate with Quilt's marketing team to ensure partners effectively leverage co-op funds, lead programs, and marketing assets.
Hunting New Partners: You'll identify and connect with HVAC contractors and dealers across the Mid-Atlantic who are strong candidates to become Quilt partners. You'll lead discovery meetings, present the Quilt Partner Program value proposition, and guide prospective partners through enrollment and onboarding. You'll maintain a healthy, well-qualified pipeline of partner prospects and represent Quilt at regional HVAC trade events, contractor association meetings, and industry gatherings. You'll meet and exceed quarterly targets for net-new partner enrollments.
Regional Performance & Cross-functional Collaboration: You'll exceed partner reorder revenue targets and drive install volume growth. You'll provide feedback to product and operations teams on partner needs and market dynamics, and collaborate with marketing, training, and support teams to ensure partners have the resources they need.
You're joining early enough to build the region your way, with a product you're proud to put in front of contractors and a company growing fast enough that your career can grow with it. The territory is early-stage, so the partners you grow, the new ones you sign, and the playbook you build will shape what Quilt looks like in the Mid-Atlantic for years to come.
QUILT CONTEXT: The company is addressing one of the largest replacement cycles in any market—over 80 million US homes will move from burning fuel to electric heat pumps, driven by rebates, regulation, and homeowner demand for lower bills and better products. Quilt's mission is to move humanity off fossil fuels; homes produce about 20% of US warming emissions, and most comes from burning fuel for heat. The company builds beautifully designed systems with AI-optimized controls and software that makes it easier for dealers to sell, install, and service. Rather than competing with partners for the customer, everything Quilt builds is meant to make contractors look better at the kitchen table.
