The Regional Nursing Lead will drive clinical excellence and growth across a multi-state region by training, coaching, and evaluating Infusion Nurses on clinical topics and best practices. This role ensures ongoing competency validation, clinical quality measurement, and auditing while serving as the primary point of contact for clinical questions from nursing staff in the region.
Key responsibilities include:
- Drive ongoing clinical effectiveness through competency validation, clinical quality measurement, auditing, coaching, and feedback
- Serve as initial point of contact for clinical questions in the region
- Identify additional training needs and pilot new clinical initiatives
- Train new Infusion Nurse hires on-site as necessary
- Provide direct clinical care (administering IV infusions) as needed to support centers
- Complete and oversee regional clinical competencies annually
- Provide regional oversight of clinical quality metrics and ensure clinical compliance
The role is hybrid with 30-50% travel to infusion centers for hands-on training, coaching, and evaluation of nursing staff, with occasional floating to centers in need of clinical support.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Current RN licensure in TX, IL, IN, or OH (or ability to obtain licensure in all states)
- 3+ years of infusion nursing experience with expert infusion clinical knowledge (or demonstrated strong internal performance at this level)
- Ability to travel 30-50% for hands-on training and nurse evaluation
