Notion is seeking a Recruiting Coordinator to support the People Team in building a generational company. This role sits at the center of the hiring process and serves as a key touchpoint for candidates experiencing Notion's recruitment journey.
In this position, you will create a candidate experience that reflects Notion's values by being one of the first and most consistent points of contact. You'll manage scheduling for a high volume of interviews across primarily non-technical roles, balancing speed with meticulous attention to detail. Your responsibilities include coordinating interviews with precision, answering candidate questions, resolving issues, and collaborating with Recruiters and Hiring Managers to refine hiring processes continuously.
This role is designed for someone early in their recruiting career who wants to build strong fundamentals. You'll gain exposure to how Notion plans, executes, and scales hiring. With support from the team, you may take on light sourcing work, process improvements, and additional ownership as your skills develop—creating a foundation for future growth in recruiting, operations, or people-focused roles.
The position is based in either San Francisco or New York City, with office presence required on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays (Anchor Days). You'll work alongside the team during these in-person days to support collaborative thinking and building.
Requirements:
- 6–12 months of experience in recruiting coordination or interview scheduling, ideally in a high-volume environment
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills; proactive, reliable, and detail-oriented
- Steady, calm approach in fast-moving environments
- Ability to navigate ambiguity with optimism
- Clear, kind, and professional communication skills to represent Notion to diverse candidates
- Curiosity about AI and willingness to adopt AI tools to work smarter and deliver better results
Nice to haves:
- Experience supporting both technical and non-technical roles, including remote and in-person interview scheduling
- Familiarity with Ashby, Workday, or Slack
- Experience in high-growth or startup environments
