Crusoe is a vertically integrated AI infrastructure company building the energy and compute backbone for the world's most ambitious AI workloads. As Principal Organizational Development Strategist, you will serve as a high-impact individual contributor and internal consultant driving organizational health, design, and effectiveness as the company rapidly scales.
You will independently diagnose organizational needs, challenge assumptions, and design interventions that improve team dynamics, strategic alignment, and leadership capabilities. Working closely with People Analytics, Talent Management, and executive leadership, you will translate data-driven insights into scalable solutions across engineering, data center, manufacturing, and corporate teams. You will also develop and oversee Crusoe's enterprise coaching strategy.
Key responsibilities include: diagnosing organizational health issues and supporting structural design initiatives (role clarity, team operating models, decision-making frameworks, change management); partnering with the Performance & Talent Management team to translate talent reviews and succession data into actionable development frameworks and capability building; analyzing quantitative and qualitative engagement data to surface critical organizational insights and lead executive debriefs; designing and facilitating strategic offsites, leadership alignment sessions, and team effectiveness workshops; building scalable toolkits and resources that empower managers to set clear expectations, differentiate performance, and deliver constructive feedback; serving as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on leadership strategy and organizational health; and designing repeatable, scalable OD frameworks rather than one-off fixes.
You will thrive in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment, blending strategic thinking with pragmatic execution. This is an individual contributor role (not managing people) with company-wide organizational scope and influence.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 10-15+ years of experience in organizational development, talent management, industrial/organizational psychology, or internal/external management consulting, ideally within high-growth, technical, or industrial sectors
- Proven track record diagnosing organizational friction, facilitating org design frameworks, and driving complex change initiatives without an established playbook
- Exceptional communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills; comfortable challenging senior executives respectfully and bringing structure to open-ended problems
- Ability to synthesize complex people data, engagement trends, and operational metrics into compelling narratives and targeted interventions
- Proven ability to manage multiple high-priority initiatives simultaneously, moving seamlessly from high-level strategy to hands-on execution
BONUS:
- Master's or Ph.D. in Organizational Development, I/O Psychology, Business Administration, or related field
- Formal training or certifications in executive coaching, change management (e.g., Prosci), org design, or assessment frameworks (e.g., Hogan, Birkman, DiSC)
- Curiosity about AI, hardware manufacturing, and physical data center infrastructure
