Fanatics Markets is a prediction market platform enabling users to trade contracts across sports, finance, economics, culture, and crypto. The company is scaling its trading desk to provide liquidity, manage risk, and ensure tight, fair markets across its contract slate. In this role, you will make markets and manage risk across sports and financial prediction contracts. You'll design and develop pricing models to generate real-time fair values for event-driven outcomes, then partner with product and engineering teams to productionize these models for live trading. Your responsibilities include monitoring, validating, and iterating on production models to continuously improve predictive accuracy and trading outcomes while ensuring robustness and operational stability. You'll identify and execute market-take opportunities arising from model insights and prediction-market dynamics, and design and implement trading strategies to maximize volume and revenue while scaling automated decision-making. Collaboration is key—you'll work closely with product, quant, engineering, and compliance teams to launch new markets and contract types. You should have a bachelor's degree or higher in a technical or quantitative discipline (mathematics, statistics, computer science, physics, economics). You'll need 2+ years of professional trading or modeling experience in fast-moving competitive environments such as market making, options/derivatives, prop trading, or sports betting trading. Experience integrating data and models into production is essential. You must have strong grasp of trading concepts, Python proficiency (including data manipulation, statistical analysis, and automation), and a passion for sports and event-driven markets. Flexibility with working hours to align with global sporting schedules is required.
