Commonwealth Fusion Systems is seeking a Quality Engineer to oversee manufacturing process quality for HTS Magnet production and the SPARC fusion energy project. In this hands-on role, you will take ownership of process stability and defect resolution on the production floor, ensuring manufacturing processes yield reliable, first-of-a-kind fusion hardware. You will partner closely with Manufacturing and Engineering teams to monitor process health, lead root cause investigations, and manage the end-to-end Non-Conformance Report (NCR) workflow. By implementing robust process controls and risk-informed corrective actions, you will resolve complex fabrication challenges and directly enable the SPARC project mission to deliver commercially viable fusion power plants. This is an off-shift position (nights and weekends) with differential pay. The role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge fusion energy technology at the world's largest fusion company, which has raised $4 billion in capital since 2018. You will be part of a team focused on building the energy industry of the future and solving urgent global energy challenges.
