As a QE Platform Engineer, you will own the test automation infrastructure that enables OnePay's engineering teams to ship confidently to production. Your responsibilities include designing and maintaining shared test automation frameworks used across web, mobile, and backend services; building reliable test execution infrastructure at scale with flaky-test detection and triage tooling; partnering with engineering teams to embed quality practices into development workflows; developing tooling for test environment provisioning, test data management, and parallelized execution; and instrumenting test infrastructure health to identify and eliminate friction points.
You will bring 5+ years of professional experience in test automation, QE engineering, or backend/platform engineering with a strong testing focus. You have deep expertise designing and building test automation frameworks (Playwright, Selenium, Appium, Cypress) that other engineers build upon, and proficiency in TypeScript/Node.js or similar languages with experience architecting test frameworks. You are comfortable with cloud-native infrastructure (Kubernetes, AWS), containerized test environments, and testing across the stack (API/integration, end-to-end for web and mobile). Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential, as you will influence testing practices across multiple teams.
