ElevenLabs is seeking an experienced Public Sector Partnerships Lead to spearhead government affairs and public policy engagement across India. Reporting to the APAC Regional Lead, you will drive regional public policy strategy, represent ElevenLabs in conversations with policymakers and regulators, and advance the company's interests in AI governance, safety, copyright, privacy, data protection, and digital rights.
Key responsibilities include: leading engagement with Indian government bodies and officials; building and maintaining relationships with policymakers, regulators, industry associations, and civil society groups; monitoring and analyzing emerging regulations impacting the company; representing ElevenLabs at conferences and industry events; supporting internal policy development across Legal, Safety, and Security teams; providing strategic counsel to leadership on regional policy trends and business implications; promoting government adoption of ElevenLabs products and services in partnership with the GTM team; and defining and implementing policy campaigns and impact initiatives.
You bring 10+ years of experience in public and private sector policy roles with a focus on AI and technology. You have strong knowledge of the regional AI policy landscape across governance, safety, copyright, privacy, transparency, data protection, competition, and digital rights. You've demonstrated success in designing, advocating for, and influencing policy outcomes, and have proven coalition-building capabilities. You possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including experience briefing government officials and policymakers. Fluency in English and Hindi is required.
