Scale is seeking a Public Sector Lead to build and own the commercial strategy for UK civilian central government. This is a hands-on role reporting directly to the Public Sector leader, combining individual deal-making with team building as the business grows. You will own the commercial plan and pipeline across UK civilian central government, with initial focus on HMRC, DWP, and NHS. Your responsibilities include finding, shaping, and closing deals from initial conversation through contract and delivery; leveraging existing relationships across departments; navigating public sector procurement frameworks, tenders, and teaming arrangements; serving as a credible counterpart to senior civil servants; staying aligned with product and delivery teams; and building a small team over time while shaping the wider UK public sector strategy. The company provides high-quality data and full-stack technologies powering leading AI models, helping enterprises and governments build, deploy, and oversee AI applications.
