Rubrik is seeking a Defence Account Executive to drive bookings growth across the UK public sector and defence market. In this role, you will own the full sales cycle for new and existing accounts, with a focus on acquiring new logos and expanding existing customer relationships within the defence and defence contractor space.
You will define and execute territory-based sales plans to meet and exceed quota through prospecting, qualifying, and closing complex opportunities. Your responsibilities include developing and managing a robust sales pipeline of strategic transactions, identifying growth opportunities within defence organizations, and presenting Rubrik's data protection and cyber resilience solutions within complex data centre environments.
You'll collaborate closely with Sales Engineers, Sales Development representatives, Channel Development teams, and Rubrik's channel partners to accelerate deal velocity and exceed sales targets. Co-selling and strategic partnerships with distributors and VARs will be key to driving rapid growth in this sector.
The ideal candidate brings proven tech sales experience (IT Infrastructure, Security, or SaaS), a consistent track record of landing new logos, and demonstrated success in the defence domain. You should have channel experience, a strong understanding of complex solution selling, and a relentless, goal-oriented mindset. Experience with defence and defence contractors is highly valued.
