Legion Health is building autonomous medical care powered by AI, starting with psychiatry. The company has received regulatory authorization to let AI prescribe psychiatric medications and has delivered tens of thousands of patient visits in just two years while maintaining flat operational costs and industry-leading patient NPS and retention. Legion is backed by Y Combinator and leading venture capital firms. You will join as a Provider Partnership Manager, one of Legion's first dedicated field sales hires on a brand-new team. This is a quota-carrying, full-cycle sales role focused on building referral relationships that connect primary care physicians and medical practices to Legion's psychiatric care platform. In this ground-floor opportunity, you'll help define the sales playbook rather than simply execute an existing one. You'll own a defined territory in the Houston area and be responsible for unlocking new practice relationships, running the complete partnership cycle from prospecting through close, and growing referral volume in accounts you've already won. Key responsibilities include: carrying and hitting a referral partnership quota; running full-cycle sales (self-sourcing, prospecting, building cases with decision-makers, closing); maintaining clean CRM pipeline and account activity; spending the majority of your week in the field meeting with physicians, medical assistants, office managers, and administrators; representing Legion credibly to clinical and administrative customers; mapping decision-making units within practices and building multi-threaded relationships; educating providers on Legion's model and impact; setting up clean handoffs so referrals convert to scheduled visits; feeding field learnings back into messaging and the sales playbook; partnering with leadership on territory design and targeting; and collaborating with peers to share best practices and troubleshoot objections. You'll be successful if you're driven by hitting and beating quota, prefer writing playbooks to inheriting them, can earn trust with physicians quickly, treat change as normal, are energized by the mission of accessible psychiatric care, and welcome coaching and feedback. REQUIREMENTS: - 4+ years carrying and hitting quota in a field-based or B2B2C role; healthcare, medical device, or pharma referral sales strongly preferred - Comfort and skill in front of clinical and administrative buyers; ability to build physician rapport and move conversations toward partnerships - Strength selling in person with good judgment about relationship needs - Highly organized and analytical; comfortable owning a number and reasoning from pipeline data - Strong written and verbal communication with polish to represent Legion externally - Familiarity with CRM and sales tooling - Existing relationships with provider referral networks are a plus but not required
