NODA AI, a veteran-owned, venture-backed defense technology company, is seeking an experienced Proposal Writer to develop compelling pursuit materials that translate the company's autonomous unmanned systems capabilities into persuasive government and customer-facing content.
You will own the full proposal lifecycle—from early customer shaping and pre-RFP activities through formal RFP/RFQ responses, white papers, capability statements, executive summaries, technical and management volumes, and past performance narratives. This is a hands-on role requiring the ability to synthesize complex technical information (software, autonomy, AI, systems integration, hardware) from engineering teams, program leaders, and subject matter experts into clear, compelling narratives tailored to customer requirements and evaluation criteria.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop original content across RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, Sources Sought responses, and strategic pursuit materials
- Analyze solicitations and acquisition documentation to ensure compliance, responsiveness, and persuasiveness
- Partner with Capture, Business Development, Programs, Product, Engineering, and leadership to align proposal narratives with capture strategy, win themes, and customer priorities
- Translate complex technical and operational concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Interview subject matter experts to extract critical information and identify content gaps
- Support the full proposal development cycle: storyboarding, outlining, drafting, editing, reviews, revisions, and submission
- Review, edit, and integrate multi-author contributions into a cohesive voice and narrative
- Collaborate with technical teams and designers on graphics, diagrams, and visual elements
- Develop and maintain reusable proposal templates, technical narratives, capability descriptions, and boilerplate libraries
- Manage multiple concurrent pursuits with compressed timelines while maintaining high quality standards
