Kasa Living is seeking a Property Portfolio Finance Manager to lead financial reporting and accounting for a growing portfolio of approximately 30 properties. This role is critical to managing monthly property-level reporting, portfolio-wide financial metrics and reconciliations, intercompany transactions, and cash flow forecasting.
Key responsibilities include preparing and presenting timely, accurate financial reports for assigned properties to internal stakeholders and external partners; owning the general ledger for an assigned region with accountability for accuracy and integrity; performing variance analysis, trend analysis, and scenario planning to support business decisions; and managing and mentoring junior accountants in the US and Mexico.
You will review financial statements prepared by the centralized team before distribution to external property owners, ensuring compliance with management agreements. You'll manage cash flow and treasury functions for your portfolio, ensuring timely payments and accurate forecasting. When not focused on monthly close activities, you'll drive process improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to automate manual processes and partnering with offshore team members to implement enhancements.
The role requires building strong relationships with regional teams, acting as a key point of contact for accounting matters, and regularly leading meetings focused on financial results. You'll provide high-level service to property partners and internal teams through timely, thoughtful, and accurate responses.
