Voyager Technologies is seeking a Project Manager to support the Advanced Programs team, which leads early-stage lunar technology and mission development. You will define end-to-end mission concepts for NASA, government, and commercial customers, directly influencing the technologies and architectures that drive Voyager's lunar pursuits.
Key responsibilities include developing program budgets and schedules for lunar landers, rovers, surface power systems, and spacecraft; supporting proposal content creation for mission opportunities and internal development programs; contributing to programmatic planning around schedules, resourcing, risks, and budget estimations; and communicating with engineering disciplines, partners, customers, and vendors to resolve technical risks.
You will build bottoms-up estimates including bill of materials, cash flow models, and labor estimates. You'll participate in customer visits and technical interchange meetings, attend cross-functional team meetings to ensure project schedules and budgets align with mission and business needs, and run internal early technology development projects and paid architecture studies, managing budget, schedule, deliverables, and customer interfaces.
Required qualifications: B.S. in Aerospace Engineering or related discipline plus 5–10 years of relevant engineering experience (advanced degree may substitute for some experience); demonstrated experience in project/program management, project finance, and program planning; experience developing programmatic content for proposals and customer presentations; experience authoring and decomposing financial and contractual volumes; strong understanding of launch, space, and lunar environments.
Desired qualifications include understanding of full development lifecycle of large complex aerospace systems, experience with large NASA or USG proposals and contracts, knowledge of NASA/industry engineering standards, experience in agile environments with tools like Confluence and Jira, and eligibility to obtain and hold a U.S. security clearance.
