Ambrook is a Series B fintech startup rebuilding financial infrastructure for American family-run businesses in agriculture, forestry, and other real-economy sectors. The company helps independent operators become more profitable and resilient by replacing legacy systems with modern tools for accounting, banking, and spending. As Program Manager in Denver, you will own multiple operational and strategic initiatives across the company's fast-growing team. You'll report directly to co-founder Jeff Anders (Head of Design) and serve as a founder's associate, handling whatever matters most each month and seeing projects through from conception to completion. Key responsibilities include: - Placemaking: Own the Denver office experience at the Evans School (1115 Acoma St). Create an environment where teammates enjoy working and where Denver's builders and designers can connect with Ambrook. Manage office rituals, guest experiences, vendors, supplies, equipment, and access. - Founder's Associate: Partner with Jeff Anders on high-impact work including meeting preparation, hiring support, special projects, and driving decisions to completion. You'll gain close visibility into how the company is built. - Design Program Management: Lead operational support for the design team. Collect critique agendas, gather materials for product reviews, evangelize the design vision, evaluate new design and AI tools, maintain media libraries and press kits, and organize a network of creative specialists (printers, illustrators, photographers, contractors). - Customer Research & Recruiting: Recruit customers for research sessions and product pilots. Plan and execute trips to meet customers across Colorado (foothills, Western Slope, Eastern Plains) and nationally. Run local candidate onsites and organize portfolio reviews. - Community & Events: Build Denver's tech community by planning coffees, intimate dinners, and meetups where engineers, designers, and founders share learning. Organize company activations across offices and curate guests and topics for maximum impact. - Tech Enablement: Work with department managers and peer program managers to improve how teammates access tools they need. Document processes and systems that scale as the company grows. - Process Improvement: Identify recurring friction points and rebuild broken processes rather than working around them. You'll collaborate with Crystal Luo (Program Manager, New York) and an incoming counterpart in San Francisco, and work closely with creative director Ali Aas on design operations. Requirements: - 1 to 8 years of full-time experience in operations, events, recruiting, hospitality, design operations, production, business operations, or related fields - Hospitable mindset with attention to craft and detail (noticing guest needs, event quality, space design) - Comfort with friction-solving and systems thinking; preference for improving processes over working around problems - Technical competence: able to set up accounts, troubleshoot conference rooms, and leverage AI tools for efficiency - Curiosity and strong network in Denver's tech, startup, design, research, and industry circles - Ability to work in-office at least 4 days per week
