Salary: USD 164,800 - 206,000 / annual

Scale is seeking a Program Manager for Compliance to build and operationalize the company's enterprise compliance program. Reporting to the Director & Associate General Counsel, Compliance, you will own the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of core compliance initiatives including anti-bribery and anti-corruption (ABAC), gifts and entertainment, conflicts of interest, third-party risk and sanctions screening, and company-wide training. This is a hands-on builder role focused on turning policy into practice. You will collaborate across Commercial, Public Sector, and international business lines, working closely with Legal, Procurement, Finance, Security, and go-to-market teams. Key responsibilities include: - Building and streamlining Scale's compliance programs from the ground up, including ABAC, gifts and entertainment, conflicts of interest, and third-party risk screening - Collaborating with stakeholders to improve compliance policies, processes, and procedures - Monitoring regulatory developments and translating them into concrete policy and process changes - Tracking compliance obligations flowing from customer contracts - Partnering with leadership to build and operationalize the company's enterprise risk management (ERM) framework - Creating reporting metrics and periodic dashboards that provide leadership with defensible visibility into program health - Supporting audit and assurance work during peak certification periods - Owning inbound customer and investor compliance diligence questionnaires You should have 5+ years of hands-on experience building or operating ethics and compliance programs in-house, with direct ownership of ABAC and at least one additional compliance area. A track record of building policies, processes, and controls from scratch and successfully implementing them is essential. You are action-oriented, analytically strong, and experienced in project management and process improvement. Nice-to-have qualifications include familiarity with compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST 800-53), experience with AI/ML applications, international compliance experience in government contracting or public sector, GRC tooling expertise, relevant certifications (CCEP/CCEP-I), or a U.S. Government Security Clearance.
