Salary: USD 110,000 - 140,000 / annual
Qualified Health is building generative AI infrastructure for healthcare, providing guardrails for safe AI governance, healthcare-specific agent creation, and real-time algorithm monitoring. The company works with leading health systems to deploy AI-driven solutions.
The Program Manager will own end-to-end execution and delivery for the Utilization Review (UR) and medical necessity product line, which is rapidly expanding across multiple health system clients. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who has already shipped real products and wants to grow into product ownership.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own end-to-end delivery of customer requirements across all health systems using the medical necessity products, from intake through production use
- Track and drive per-customer configuration work to bring new health systems live and maintain existing ones
- Manage day-to-day interaction between customers, product team, and engineering; translate requests into clear, buildable work with acceptance criteria
- Support sprint-level prioritization when customer requests compete
- Partner with the AI Transformation team on rollouts and help establish repeatable rollout processes
- Identify patterns in customer requests and feed them back into the product roadmap
The role requires strong execution bias, detail orientation, and genuine appetite to learn the utilization review domain from scratch. No prior UR expertise is required. You will work in Jira daily, coordinate with engineering teams, and operate in a fast-paced startup environment where every customer has slightly different needs.
Ideal candidates have startup or fast-growing company experience, health tech or healthcare SaaS background (particularly in implementation or delivery roles), exposure to enterprise/health system customers, and a clear ambition to move into product management.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree
- 2+ years of program management, project management, implementation, or delivery experience
- Demonstrated experience shipping a real product to a real customer (school projects and internships do not count)
- Direct experience coordinating work with engineering teams: writing requirements, managing backlogs, driving delivery against sprint cadence
- Deep comfort with Jira as primary working tool
- Excellent written and verbal communication; able to manage multiple customers and internal teams simultaneously
- Genuine appetite to learn healthcare and utilization review domain from scratch
IDEAL EXPERIENCE:
- Startup or fast-growing company background
- Health tech or healthcare SaaS experience in implementation, customer program management, or delivery roles
- Exposure to enterprise or health system customers
- Program or delivery background with ambition to move into product management
- Familiarity with healthcare workflows, terminology, or health system IT environments
