Base Power is rebuilding America's electricity infrastructure by deploying distributed battery networks to transform the centralized grid into a resilient, abundant system. The Program Lead for Commercial Partnerships will own the day-to-day success of builder partner relationships and operations, serving as the primary point of contact for partner success and accountability.
You will start by owning one homebuilder partner relationship as the single point of contact, driving volume growth, unit economics, and quality outcomes while keeping partners motivated. This foundational role on a small, fast-moving business operations team requires functional breadth and comfort with detail work. You'll see the entire lifecycle of channel partnerships—from operational execution to demand generation to installation—and coordinate across sales, marketing, design, finance, product, deployment operations, and membership experience.
Key responsibilities include: owning partner success and performance targets; building trusted relationships with executives and on-the-ground teams across 4+ divisions at partner companies; maintaining tight reporting with recurring updates, dashboards, and check-ins; setting and tracking internal targets and channel health; resolving escalated issues and empowering teams without formal authority; documenting processes to scale; launching new neighborhoods within partner footprints; designing and running structured tests to unlock improvements; and regular travel to Texas markets.
You bring proven experience standing up and leading large-scale partnerships in high-growth environments, strong organizational and interpersonal skills to motivate cross-functional teams, commercial acumen to structure win-win-win outcomes in B2B2C models, and an analytical, data-driven mindset comfortable with SQL, dashboards, and CRMs. You have a real bias to action, strong communication skills, and comfort operating in fast-changing environments where processes don't yet exist. The business operations team is responsible for high-leverage outcomes including financing growth, commercial partnerships, acquisitions, new market entries, and cross-functional programs. Base is a startup where priorities shift quickly and roles may expand based on business needs.
