Anduril Industries is seeking a Program Engineer to drive technical outcomes for the Air Defense team, which builds autonomous systems including Roadrunner, Sentry, Anvil, Pulsar, and Wisp—networked sensors and effectors designed to counter evolving UAS threats. This role bridges engineering and field operations, requiring deep technical leadership combined with stakeholder management and program execution. You will own an Air Defense program end-to-end: gathering operational insights from users, translating those into engineering requirements, and ensuring delivery of systems that operators need and trust. Key responsibilities include: • Stakeholder Engagement: Build relationships with internal teams, external clients, and industry partners. Act as the primary technical liaison, advocating for client needs within engineering and ensuring feedback shapes the product roadmap. Communicate software releases, new capabilities, and performance improvements. • Technical Ownership: Drive system performance outcomes through deep understanding of how products perform in the field. Own the technical narrative from delivery through continuous improvement, credibly representing systems to both technical and non-technical audiences. • Tactical Execution: Clarify the path from engineering development to operational delivery. Lead sprint planning, support test events, attack blockers, and guide teams through fast-paced execution to achieve optimal technical outcomes. • Strategic Planning: Translate business goals and program requirements into actionable plans with clear milestones. Oversee resource allocation (personnel, budget) and drive initiatives from conception through completion, using data where possible. • Autonomous Execution: Execute on broad, ambiguous requirements from external clients. Shape requirements in favor of optimal products. Demonstrate high ownership and become a trusted partner to engineers. • Cross-Team Collaboration: Manage, unblock, and accelerate projects spanning multiple teams, embedding within partner teams as needed. You are a proven technical leader who delivers timely, quality, performant systems. You thrive in uncertainty, distinguish between must-haves and nice-to-haves, anticipate blockers, and communicate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences. You are mission-aligned, think critically, and challenge ambiguity.
