Quince is a manufacturer-to-consumer (M2C) apparel and accessories brand on a mission to deliver high-quality essentials at fair prices sustainably. The company operates a direct-to-consumer model that eliminates traditional retail layers, working closely with manufacturing partners and leveraging proprietary technology and analytics to scale rapidly.
As Production Planning Manager based in Shanghai, you will oversee production operations for apparel and accessories, reporting to the regional head of production. You will manage vendor relationships, drive initiatives to shorten lead times, and ensure on-time delivery to maintain inventory levels.
Key responsibilities include:
**New Product Launches:** Accelerate product launches from concept to market and scale-up phases. After buy-plan approval, coordinate with manufacturing partners to ensure on-time PO acceptance, first-order delivery ex-factory, readiness for replenishment orders, and fabric/trim availability for future growth.
**Production Management:** Collaborate with manufacturing partners to deliver defect-free products with reliable on-time delivery and fast replenishment execution. Participate in weekly business reviews (WBRs) with all partners to monitor on-time delivery and ex-factory performance. Work with the planning team and manufacturers to ensure fabric, trim, and capacity readiness.
**Cross-functional Collaboration:** Partner with global sourcing and logistics teams to optimize production workflows, reduce lead times, and maintain vendor performance standards.
You will drive operational excellence, build strong vendor partnerships, and contribute to Quince's rapid scaling in the Asia-Pacific region. The role requires balancing speed with quality, data-driven decision-making, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
