ICEYE, the world leader in sovereign intelligence from space, is seeking a Production Planner for its Global Manufacturing Organisation. This role sits at the foundation of the planning hierarchy and serves as the eyes and ears of the planning system on the production floor.
You will be responsible for maintaining alignment and accuracy across multiple systems (Smartsheet, Jira, NetSuite & MES) to ensure work orders, configurations, and floor status are always synchronized. The accuracy of data you maintain directly impacts rolling plans, capacity models, and VP-level monthly approval decisions. You will capture and escalate floor and configuration issues early, ensure as-built configuration and work order BoM data match approved baselines, and keep the planning system reflecting floor reality rather than planning assumptions.
Key day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Keeping Smartsheet, Jira, and NetSuite & MES in sync with no phantom WIP or conflicting references
- Capturing and escalating floor and configuration issues before they become problems
- Ensuring as-built configuration matches approved LCM baselines
- Maintaining accurate plan-vs-actuals, milestone status, and people availability data
- Coordinating daily schedules with site MAITE leads and reporting actual availability into the capacity model
- Serving as the dependable source of truth for work order numbers and configuration references
You will work hands-on with production planning and work-order coordination, maintain configuration awareness (FCR/PCR, BoM, as-built vs as-designed), and influence cross-functional teams without direct authority. The role requires early, factual escalation of deviations and the ability to coordinate across people and sites through reliability and collaboration rather than authority.
ICEYE is a global scale-up with over 1,000 employees across Europe, North America, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific. The company operates the world's largest and most advanced SAR (synthetic aperture radar) satellite constellation, serving customers in defence and intelligence, environmental monitoring, insurance, and emergency management.
REQUIREMENTS:
Must-haves:
- 2–4 years of experience in manufacturing, production planning, or AIT (Assembly, Integration, Test) coordination
- Hands-on comfort with planning and tracking tools: Smartsheet, Jira, and an ERP/MRP system such as NetSuite
- Genuine obsession with data accuracy and discipline to keep multiple systems consistent under time pressure
- Data analytics capability (Excel, Power BI, or similar) to surface issues, track trends, and support decisions
- Inventory management experience tracking materials, WIP, and stock accuracy against plan
- Detailed understanding of ERP, MES, and work-order/planning tools
- Strong organizational and coordination skills
- Clear, factual communication with instinct to raise problems early
- Ability to coordinate across people and sites without direct authority; influence and reliability over formal power
- Team player mentality
Nice-to-haves:
- Experience in satellite, aerospace, or other regulated, low-volume/high-complexity manufacturing
- Working understanding of BOM/work order management concepts or appetite to learn quickly
Note: Employment is subject to applicable security screening (including SUPO where required). Applications must be submitted in English.
