Nexxa.AI is seeking a Product Designer to define the user experience of AI for complex industrial environments. You'll own product design across key platform areas, from early concepts through production-ready experiences, focusing on making sophisticated AI systems feel intuitive, trustworthy, and actionable. In this role, you will design experiences around AI recommendations, agents, automation, approvals, and complex operational workflows. You'll explore new interaction patterns for how users communicate with, understand, and act alongside AI systems. Your work will transform dense information and industrial processes into interfaces that feel simple and highly usable, spanning dashboards, workflows, command centers, and AI-native interfaces. You'll prototype interactions and concepts quickly to validate ideas before engineering implementation, think deeply about interaction design and motion beyond static screens, and work closely with product, engineering, AI, and leadership teams. You'll contribute to and evolve the design system while maintaining design excellence, and you'll obsess over details—hierarchy, typography, spacing, motion, transitions—that make products feel premium. Nexxa is building specialized AI for heavy industries, creating intelligent systems that connect information, decisions, and execution across historically siloed functions. This is an opportunity to help define an entirely new product category and interaction language, rather than reskinning existing SaaS patterns. QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS: - Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional visual and product taste, especially in UX/UI - Proven experience designing sophisticated digital products, platforms, or complex workflows - Exceptional eye for layout, typography, composition, hierarchy, interaction, and detail - Deep UX understanding with ability to explain design reasoning - Ability to simplify complexity without losing necessary information - Comfortable designing from ambiguity without perfect briefs - Systems thinking: flows, states, and interactions, not just individual screens - Proficiency in Figma or similar prototyping tools - Ability to collaborate with engineers and understand production constraints - Strong opinions, loosely held, with thoughtful reasoning BIG PLUS: - Motion design or advanced interaction design experience - Experience designing AI-native products, agents, copilots, or intelligent workflows - Background with data-heavy, enterprise, industrial, operational, or technical products - Prototyping experience that communicates behavior, not just appearance - Interest in emerging interface patterns beyond traditional dashboards
