Salary: USD 155,000 - 205,000 / annual
Wiz, a rapidly growing cloud and AI security company (recently acquired by Google), is seeking a Product Strategy & Operations Lead to drive the Google Cloud Security product line and oversee the integration of Wiz into Google's security organization. This is a strategic, operational, and managerial role with broad independence and direct reporting to senior leadership.
You will serve as the operational authority and executive proxy for the Head of Cyber Defence Strategy, managing cross-functional operations across Engineering, Product, Finance, Legal, Marketing, and People Operations. Key responsibilities include:
**Functional Governance & Operations:** Direct the operational framework for Google Cloud Security products, setting organizational targets and ensuring smooth operations across teams.
**Financial Ownership:** Manage budget allocation, forecasting, and approval processes for project budgets, travel & entertainment, and events. Lead vendor spend management using Google finance systems (Buying Hub, Concur, Sphinx, Legal, Finance).
**Cross-Functional Leadership:** Eliminate bottlenecks and streamline global workflows by aligning initiatives across all business functions.
**Executive Authority:** Exercise decision-making authority in strategic and operational forums, resolve cross-team conflicts, and manage high-level escalations.
**Executive Communications:** Formulate and execute top-level communications, strategic narratives, briefing materials, and presentations for internal leadership, global teams, and external stakeholders.
**AI Implementation:** Set and execute organizational plans to implement innovative AI technologies, establish adoption targets, drive user training, and ensure ROI for AI investments.
**Event Management:** Direct end-to-end strategy, content, logistics, and execution for major leadership summits, executive visits, international delegations, offsites, and ecosystem events.
This role requires managing complex stakeholder alignment, operationalizing strategic initiatives, and serving as a trusted advisor to C-level executives. You will coordinate both Google Cloud Security product and Wiz Defend aspects, including market expansion and partnerships.
**Requirements:**
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 8+ years of experience in business operations, strategy consulting, chief of staff, or program management in high-growth technology or cloud organizations
- Experience managing executive-level communications, operational frameworks (e.g., OKRs), and complex stakeholder alignment across technical and business functions
- Experience managing operational budgets, vendor procurement, and resource planning
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Master's degree, MBA, or advanced technical degree
- Experience in cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, or enterprise SaaS, including post-merger integration (M&A) or joint business initiatives
- Demonstrated ability to operationalize and drive adoption of AI/ML tools to boost organizational velocity
- Proven track record of navigating ambiguity and influencing cross-functional leaders without formal authority
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with extensive experience presenting to C-level executives
