As a Product Owner, you'll work within a dedicated engineering squad to shape and deliver product strategy aligned with the company vision. You'll focus on HR, Payroll, Recruitment, Onboarding, Benefits, Employee Engagement, and Performance technologies.
Key responsibilities include:
- Translating and delivering the product vision and roadmap through your squad
- Prioritizing a high-value backlog by balancing business goals, technical feasibility, and customer needs
- Managing user stories, sprint planning, and release workload
- Collaborating with Product Designers, Technical Architects, and Developers to ensure viable, feasible solutions
- Testing and measuring product performance, feeding insights back into roadmap planning
- Coordinating cross-functional launches with Sales, Marketing, Support, and Professional Services
- Gathering requirements and communicating project status transparently to stakeholders
You'll need 2–3 years of Product Owner or product management experience in a high-velocity, fast-growth environment. A strong analytical mindset is essential; ideally you have an undergraduate degree in Business Systems, IT, Engineering, or a quantitative field (Mathematics, Statistics, Economics). You should be skilled at writing clear PRDs, setting acceptance criteria, and simplifying complex technical problems. Proven experience collaborating directly with engineering teams to ship products is required. You'll thrive in a remote-first, asynchronous environment with high autonomy and the ability to align cross-functional teams amid ambiguity.
