Adverity is seeking a Product Owner to join a product engineering team in Sofia. You will work closely with engineers, product leads, and stakeholders to translate customer feedback, market signals, and business priorities into clear product direction and actionable backlog items.
Key responsibilities include:
- Synthesizing customer feedback, support trends, usage data, and competitive intelligence to inform priorities
- Writing clear problem statements and acceptance criteria that engineers can execute against
- Managing and maintaining the product backlog in Jira, including grooming sessions and ticket refinement
- Collaborating with engineers on sprint planning, setting sprint goals, and defining the "why" behind work
- Tracking outcomes post-launch, not just feature completion
- Owning roadmap sequencing and the decision of which problems are worth solving
- Surfacing new signals that could shift priorities and working through trade-offs
- Participating in sprint reviews and demos to validate delivered work against original problem statements
You should have 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role with direct backlog ownership. Strong Jira proficiency is required, along with plain-language writing skills and enough technical fluency to engage in engineering trade-off discussions. Experience with analytics tools (Mixpanel, Amplitude, Notion) and direct customer-facing work (support, sales engineering, customer success, research) is valued. You thrive working collaboratively with engineers rather than handing off finished specs.
This is a full-time, in-office role based in Sofia with flexible hours and the option to work from home 2 days per week. The company values in-person collaboration and expects team members in the office at least 3 times weekly.
