Aviso Wealth is seeking a Product Owner to join the Client Experience, Marketing, and Communications (CXMC) team in Toronto. Reporting to the Supervisor, you will manage the product backlog and partner with Delivery Teams to execute the product vision for asset management solutions. Your core responsibilities include drafting product briefs that define objectives and strategies, leveraging data to inform product direction aligned with business goals, and engaging stakeholders throughout visioning and concept development. You will perform discovery work to gather requirements, assess and prioritize stories and epics, and manage the backlog while elaborating user stories into clear, actionable tasks for the development team. You will take ownership of feature delivery and updates, managing dependencies and risks while ensuring the team understands backlog items. A key focus is implementing user-centric decision-making by balancing user needs, IT constraints, and external partner relationships to maximize user value. You will continuously improve the product through user feedback, performance data, and industry trend analysis. The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, building trust with teams, and fostering a culture of inclusion. You will provide coaching, remove roadblocks, and ensure teams have resources for success. Aviso values care, innovation, collaboration, and delivery—embodied in their 'oneaviso' culture. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; 2+ years as a Product Owner or Manager in Agile environments; and 2+ years in asset management. You must be highly digitally savvy with proficiency in MS Office, SQL/Oracle, Power BI, Smartsheet, Azure DevOps, Google Analytics, MIRO, and Figma. Strong knowledge of Agile principles and prioritization methods (Value vs Effort, RICE) is essential. Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills are required. Certifications such as Certified Scrum Master or Certified Scrum Product Owner are preferred. Fluent English is required; French bilingualism is a plus.
