Ambrook is a Series A fintech startup rebuilding financial infrastructure for American family-run businesses. The company helps independent operators (farmers, ranchers, and other land/labor stewards) access modern accounting, banking, and spending tools to improve profitability and secure capital. Backed by Thrive Capital, Dylan Field, and Homebrew, Ambrook has grown from 100 to 8,000 customers in 24 months. The Product Operations team bridges the gap between product capabilities and customer experience. You'll own a slice of the customer experience, working directly with customers to identify friction points, test solutions, and scale what works. This is a high-agency role that combines customer empathy with hands-on building. In your first month, you'll ramp on the product and accounting domain through support shifts and customer calls, then take ownership of a specific customer experience area and ship your first improvement end-to-end. Within three months, you'll own an ambiguous, important outcome, run experiments to validate approaches, prototype agentic AI workflows with customers, and influence product/engineering decisions with evidence from customer work. By six months, you'll define vision and metrics for your business slice, grow existing customer revenue through new opportunities, increase core workflow adoption, and build scalable processes and automations. The ideal candidate brings strong customer empathy, proven ownership of ambiguous problems, systems thinking (combining qualitative and quantitative data), high agency, a builder mentality, and outcome orientation. A technical or operational spike in data, AI, accounting/finance, product design, or process building is valued. You're comfortable identifying and solving problems without a clear precedent, using AI to create leverage, and staying close to customers while operating strategically.
