Turion Space is seeking a Product Operations Analyst to support the Chief Product Officer in developing product strategy, governance, and execution of the product roadmap. This role is central to translating ambitious product plans into fielded systems, connecting engineering, business development, and customers around clear priorities.
You will build planning processes, performance analysis, and go-to-market strategies that enable Turion to bring new products to market with speed and rigor. Your work will provide the CPO and cross-functional leaders with visibility and structure to make sound decisions as the company scales its portfolio of in-space servicing, space domain awareness, and orbital infrastructure products.
Key responsibilities include supporting product strategy development and governance; organizing product teams; integrating product plans with enterprise management systems; driving product planning processes to align stakeholders on vision and roadmap; leading go-to-market strategy development including market research and competitive analysis; collaborating with engineering, sales, marketing, and customer support on product launches; and analyzing product performance and customer feedback to inform continuous improvement.
Required qualifications: B.S. in Engineering or related technical field; 3-15 years of professional experience in product development or relevant field; demonstrated ability to structure ambiguous problems and translate data into product decisions; understanding of technical, business, and operational aspects of product development including market research, product lifecycle management, UX/customer feedback, data-driven decision making, and go-to-market strategy; strong proficiency in MS Office, JIRA/Confluence, and product management tools; ability to develop software for analyzing large datasets including data visualization, statistical analysis, and machine learning; U.S. citizenship required; ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret security clearance.
Preferred qualifications include aerospace/defense product launch experience, customer interaction and requirements gathering experience, familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies, and understanding of AI applications in product development. Position is onsite at Irvine headquarters. May require support for alternate/extended shifts and travel during peak periods.
