Mistral is a full-stack AI company providing frontier models, developer tools, applications, and compute infrastructure. They partner with enterprises across finance, manufacturing, defense, healthcare, and the public sector to co-create customized AI systems.
As Product Monetization & Pricing Lead, you will own pricing strategy and execution across Mistral's product suite. You'll work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Finance to align pricing with customer value, supporting both product-led growth and enterprise motions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing charge metrics and pricing tiers (usage-based, seats, subscriptions) for new and existing products
- Building financial models, running A/B tests, and analyzing usage data to optimize pricing and packaging
- Translating technical features and AI economics into clear value propositions and pricing narratives
- Benchmarking competitors and monitoring market trends to maintain competitive positioning
- Enabling Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams with pricing guidelines and training
- Establishing processes and dashboards to track revenue, margins, and adoption metrics
You'll report to the Head of Product Operations and be based in Paris with hybrid flexibility (minimum 3 days/week in office, with manager discretion for additional remote flexibility).
Ideal candidates bring 8–10 years in GTM, product, or strategy roles at deep-tech or SaaS companies, with at least 5 years of direct pricing experience. You should have a proven track record designing pricing for technical products (APIs, cloud, developer tools), deep understanding of usage-, seat-, and license-based models, and familiarity with both PLG and enterprise sales motions. Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, comfort with data-driven experimentation, and excellent stakeholder management are essential. Bonus experience includes exposure to AI/LLM pricing levers (fine-tuning, custom models) and fast-growth tech startups.
