Overland AI, founded in 2022 and headquartered in Seattle, is transforming land operations for modern defense through advanced robotics and machine learning. The company has developed OverDrive, an autonomy stack enabling ground vehicles to navigate and operate off-road without GPS or direct operator control, and OverWatch, a command-and-control interface for mission coordination. Backed by prominent defense tech investors including 8VC and Point 72, with partnerships across DARPA, the U.S. Army, Marine Corps, and Special Operations Command, Overland AI is executing eight-figure Department of Defense contracts.
The Product Marketing Manager will own how the company's products are positioned, messaged, and brought to market. This role sits at the intersection of product strategy, storytelling, and go-to-market execution, serving as connective tissue between product, engineering, and business development teams and the external market.
Key responsibilities include:
**Messaging and Positioning:** Own messaging and positioning for Overland AI vehicles across missions, customer segments, and key markets. Set internal and external communication strategy, equipping teams with consistent information. Leverage customer interviews and internal insights to craft messaging that increases engagement across digital channels and the company website. Translate vehicle and ground autonomy capabilities into differentiated, mission-driven value propositions.
**Product Marketing and Go-to-Market:** Partner closely with Product and Engineering teams to understand upcoming features and position them for optimal impact with customers and prospects. Develop core product marketing assets including sales decks, product briefs, launch materials, and campaign content. Coordinate new capability launches with clear, consistent messaging across teams.
**Content Development and Thought Leadership:** Create and update marketing collateral, including product sheets and digital content, reflecting persona-driven messaging that moves customers through the funnel. Develop thought leadership content including articles, op-eds, and blogs that advance Overland AI's perspective on defense technology and autonomy.
**Metrics and Analytics:** Define and track metrics that measure the impact of marketing efforts across the funnel.
This is a strategic and hands-on role for a marketer comfortable moving fluidly between crafting compelling messaging, building sales collateral, launching campaigns, and developing thought leadership. The ideal candidate owns work from early concept through final delivery and thrives in a fast-moving environment where bold experimentation and cross-functional collaboration drive results.
