Lumana is an AI-powered video security platform founded in 2021 and backed by tier-one Silicon Valley investors. The company has achieved product-market fit and recently closed the largest Series A in its industry. Lumana's mission is to help organizations unlock the value of their visual data through intelligent video security that enhances safety, streamlines operations, and enables instant response.
The Product Marketing Lead is a strategic, cross-functional role responsible for positioning, launching, and communicating Lumana's AI-first platform to the market. This person serves as the connective tissue between Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success—translating complex technical capabilities into clear, compelling narratives that resonate with decision-makers across education, government, manufacturing, hospitality, healthcare, and retail.
Key responsibilities include owning market strategy and go-to-market direction by gathering customer and competitive intelligence; developing and evolving differentiated positioning and messaging across industries and buyer personas; leading product launches and GTM execution from roadmap through measurable outcomes; driving cross-functional alignment and prioritization; enabling Sales and Channel teams with battlecards, pitch decks, and competitive intelligence; shaping content and thought leadership to position Lumana as an industry leader; and representing the customer voice across the organization to influence strategy and product decisions.
This role reports to the VP of GTM Engineering and sits at the center of Lumana's growth strategy during a critical inflection point. The AI video surveillance market is projected to double to $14.6B within four years, and Lumana is positioned to become the clear market leader. The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on, energized by ambiguity, and excited to define and build a new category through strong storytelling and disciplined execution. The company values ownership, speed, and impact—teams are small, dynamic, and trusted to lead.
