LightSprint (YC P26) is a collaborative product-development platform designed for the AI era. The platform combines a code-aware task board, cloud coding agents, and per-task preview environments into a unified system where every task is a real agent session with its own environment and preview URL. This founding product marketing hire will define how LightSprint communicates its product, category, and the new ways product and engineering teams can collaborate with coding agents. You will own positioning and messaging, translating a technical, fast-moving product into a clear story for product leaders, engineers, and cross-functional teams. You'll lead product launches by building narratives, content, distribution plans, and internal enablement, then measuring what resonates with the market. Close collaboration with customers is essential—you'll join conversations, study how teams use the product, and translate their language, objections, and outcomes into sharper marketing strategies. You'll create sales and customer materials including pages, decks, demos, and case studies that make the product easier to understand and adopt. A key responsibility is helping shape the category by explaining how collaborative product development evolves when coding agents become part of the workflow. You'll also establish the systems, feedback loops, and standards that future product marketing teammates will inherit, building the function from the ground up. Required qualifications include proven experience marketing technical B2B products with the ability to make complex ideas concrete without losing their essence. You need strong product instincts to quickly understand workflows, users, competitors, and technical details. Exceptional writing and editing skills are essential—you'll move fluidly between concise headlines, detailed launch narratives, and practical sales assets. You're comfortable working from ambiguity, forming points of view, and shipping without waiting for complete briefs. You collaborate effectively with founders, product teams, engineers, sales, and customers, turning competing inputs into clear decisions. You're outcomes-focused, testing messages, studying performance, and revising work based on actual user behavior. Nice-to-have experience includes marketing developer tools, AI products, infrastructure, or collaboration software; being the first or early product marketer at a startup; familiarity with coding agents and the emerging AI software-development landscape; conducting customer research and translating it into positioning and go-to-market decisions; and a portfolio demonstrating launches or category narratives that changed market perception.
