Perplexity is hiring a Product Manager to own the SMB design partner program for Computer, their agentic AI product. This is an end-to-end ownership role where you'll recruit and onboard design partners (real operators running their businesses on Computer), define success metrics, and iterate on Computer's skill packs until they deliver agency-level value.
You'll translate partner feedback into a prioritized roadmap for skill, connector, and capability improvements, working closely with engineering and product teams to spec and ship features. You'll drive case studies end-to-end with partnerships and growth marketing, measuring results honestly and packaging them for paid, organic, and partner channels. You'll also drive usage expansion across the existing SMB operator base through targeted onboarding, lifecycle engagement, and in-product recommendations.
The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of total experience, including 2+ years in investment banking, strategy consulting, or comparable analytical work, followed by operating experience. You should have hands-on familiarity with real marketing workflows (paid social, lifecycle, CRO, SEO) and understand what "great" looks like to an operator. You're already using AI agents for real work, comfortable writing prompts and building automation systems, and proficient with SQL for pulling cohorts and validating segments independently.
You thrive in high-velocity, early-stage environments, shipping daily and iterating weekly. Strong written and verbal communication is essential—you'll be running working relationships with founders and heads of marketing. Nice-to-haves include founder or early-employee experience at DTC/e-commerce brands, performance marketing agencies, or martech companies, plus direct experience with tools like Shopify, Klaviyo, Meta Ads Manager, or TikTok Ads.
