Float is Canada's intelligent financial operating system, combining modern financial services and software to help businesses spend, save, and grow. Trusted by more than 7,500 Canadian companies, Float provides corporate cards, automated expense management, bill payments, and high-yield accounts. The company recently raised $85M in Series C funding and is backed by top-tier investors including Inovia Capital, Goldman Sachs Growth Equity, and OMERS Ventures. You will join Float's Spend Management pillar as a Product Manager for the Mid-Market Activation squad, reporting to the Head of Spend Management. Your mission is to increase active cardholder penetration—ensuring every employee who should have a Float card gets one and uses it quickly. Today, many mid-market accounts sign with Float but remain underutilized because card issuance, onboarding, and visibility are manual processes. You will own the entire activation funnel: card issuance and provisioning workflows, HRIS and SCIM integrations that automate new-hire card creation, the admin-facing Overview page and Action Items framework, onboarding and activation nudges, reimbursement-to-card conversion signals, and first-transaction failure diagnostics. Your core accountability is active cardholder penetration, median time to first spend, HRIS/SCIM connection adoption, and the share of cards issued through automation rather than manual creation. You'll work with a designer, four engineers, Product Ops/Analytics, Sales, and Customer Experience teams. Your responsibilities include owning features end-to-end from discovery through launch and iteration, translating customer and business problems into clear requirements, partnering closely with Design and Engineering to ship high-quality workflows, managing dependencies and scope trade-offs, owning your squad's roadmap within a defined mission, defending sequencing in prioritization conversations, and making data-driven decisions. You'll talk directly with admins, HR, and ops teams to identify and remove friction from B2B provisioning workflows, and you'll balance speed, quality, and commercial priorities while re-planning when data warrants it.
