As Product Manager for Manufacturing Business Systems, you will shape and drive the internal systems powering Fictiv and MISUMI Americas' manufacturing operations—including PLM, ERP, TMS, MRP, and other business systems. This role focuses on solution implementation and optimization rather than IT support.
Key responsibilities include:
**Business Acumen & Domain Awareness:**
- Research and evaluate needs of internal users (operations, finance, supply chain, engineering, IT) to understand priorities and pain points within manufacturing workflows
- Understand how internal workflows and tools shape the customer experience, identifying and evaluating opportunities through that lens
- Develop deep knowledge of PLM, ERP, and other manufacturing business systems—including data models, integrations, and dependencies—translating that knowledge into product opportunities
- Assess needs of the growing network of manufacturing partners and identify opportunities to improve data flow, traceability, and partner experience
- Contribute to strategy and roadmap for evolving the manufacturing business systems landscape to support growth
**Roadmap Execution & Project Delivery:**
- Own assigned roadmap items related to manufacturing business systems, translating high-level goals into detailed objectives and projects
- Build business cases for system investments (new systems, modules, configurations, integrations) and secure leadership alignment
- Develop frameworks for tracking input/output metrics to quantify project success and impact
- Scope and define requirements for roadmap items to ensure clarity and alignment
- Partner with engineering to define solutions, drive execution from planning through implementation, qualification, and launch
You will identify and validate business opportunities unlocked through technology, balancing customer satisfaction, growth, reliable delivery, and operational efficiency. The solutions you contribute to are foundational to MISUMI Americas' manufacturing business, enabling it to scale and deliver differentiated value.
