Cobre is Latin America's leading instant B2B payments platform, solving the region's most complex money movement challenges through advanced financial infrastructure. The company enables instant business payments—local or international, direct or via API—from a single platform, serving fintechs, PSPs, banks, and finance teams.
You'll own the Liquidity Management Product, leading a squad building Cobre's Liquidity Intelligence Platform—a real-time system that tells businesses exactly how much cash they have, where it is, and what to do about it. This is not a traditional PM role; you'll define product strategy, own the roadmap, understand the quantitative models behind the flagship engine, and work shoulder-to-shoulder with engineers and data scientists to ship.
Key ownership areas include:
**Liquidity Intelligence & Forecasting**: Build a continuous, real-time monitoring and decisioning engine that watches every account and rail, forecasts cash flows, and recommends funding moves ahead of need—weighing cost and risk to find the most efficient option. This is the platform's flagship differentiator.
**Cash Visibility & Execution Infrastructure**: Create one live view of Cobre's entire cash position across fiat (COP, MXN, USD) and stablecoins (USDT/USDC), across every bank and rail. Build the system for balance tracking and signatory management as the account universe grows, expanding direct API coverage across banking partners.
**Liquidity Risk, FX Exposure & Governance**: Own visibility into FX exposure by currency and legal entity, hedge coverage, true cost of money movement through each corridor, trapped cash detection, scenario planning, and audit trails that make the engine's recommendations explainable as it gains autonomy.
Your responsibilities include leading a product squad of engineers and data scientists, defining and shipping the full product cycle from problem discovery to production, building with an AI-native mindset (prototyping and validating ideas yourself before engineering commits), balancing phases and priorities ruthlessly, partnering across Treasury/Revenue Operations, Data & Decision Science, Engineering, Finance, and Sales, and staying close to data and decisioning models to sanity-check them.
The role requires 3+ years in fintech/payments/B2B SaaS, comfort with quantitative thinking and financial concepts, experience shipping complex products in regulated environments, and the ability to work with data scientists and engineers on AI/ML-driven features.
