Salary: USD 160,000 - 190,000 / annual
iCapital is seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead the post-investment advisor platform experience, with primary focus on the Investment Dashboard. This role involves developing solutions to industry-wide challenges in alternative investment reporting and contributing to iCapital's post-investment roadmap.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading stakeholder engagements with internal teams and end users to identify and deliver solutions for core functional areas and user experiences
- Defining detailed product requirements through comprehensive user stories and acceptance criteria for engineering teams
- Managing the complete lifecycle of product feature development from conception through launch, including testing and iteration
- Leading and managing a small team of product managers to drive successful outcomes
- Owning the product roadmap for specific features or platform segments, determining prioritization and ensuring on-time, in-scope delivery
- Communicating effectively with business stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and align product vision and strategy
- Developing and maintaining comprehensive project communication plans across UX Design, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Legal, and other product lines
- Investigating production issues and identifying tactical solutions when appropriate
- Monitoring post-launch feature performance and identifying continuous improvement opportunities
- Fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning within the team
- Maintaining awareness of competitive landscape from business, legal, and compliance perspectives
Required qualifications:
- 8+ years of product management experience, preferably in fintech, wealth management, or related industries
- Strong analytical skills with proven track record solving complex, ambiguous problems
- Demonstrated experience managing technical teams, sprints, and projects with roadmap ownership
- Detail-oriented with ability to write comprehensive user stories and acceptance criteria
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships and gain buy-in
- Experience with or willingness to become expert in alternative investments space
- Proficiency with agile methodologies and mindset embracing quick deployment and iteration
- Excellent communication skills, including ability to engage executive management
- Customer-centric approach with direct client engagement experience
- Flexible and adaptable, able to manage multiple priorities
- Preferred: experience with alternative investment reporting and advisor interactions
