Salary: EUR 46,400 - 69,600 / annual

You will own the product strategy and vision for GoCardless's "payment success" product line, powered by AI and machine learning. This is a critical differentiator—Success+ is already a key reason customers choose GoCardless, helping merchants intelligently recover failed payments with smart retries using proprietary data and cutting-edge data science. Your role is to set the strategic direction for this area and communicate complex concepts clearly to executives, stakeholders, and customers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Define and drive the strategic roadmap for payment success products
- Translate deep customer insights into data-driven solutions
- Partner with Data Platform teams to build foundational data infrastructure that powers network-wide performance improvements
- Enable sales and support teams to articulate and position the competitive strength of Success+
You should have proven experience building and scaling AI/ML-powered features in fintech or payments, with a track record of translating complex customer pain points into high-impact products. A strong understanding of data platforms, ability to shape technical direction, and excellent communication skills are essential. Data-driven decision-making and the ability to build narratives backed by data are core to success in this role.
