Coinbase is seeking a Product Manager II to own the strategy and execution for enterprise identity and multi-user experiences across its business products. This role sits within the Identity organization and Platform group, responsible for some of Coinbase's highest-traffic, most security-critical surfaces including sign-in, authentication, account management, and organization administration.
You will define how business customers manage users, roles, permissions, and security controls across Coinbase's growing product portfolio, directly shaping enterprise adoption and scaling on the platform.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning the product roadmap for enterprise identity and multi-user capabilities, including role-based access control (RBAC), organization management, SSO/SAML, domain claiming, and provisioning (SCIM, JIT)
- Driving strategy for authentication, authorization, and account-security experiences serving both consumer and business customers at scale
- Leading cross-functional launches by coordinating engineering, design, security, legal, privacy, customer experience, and international stakeholders through complex delivery milestones
- Partnering with Security and Engineering to identify vulnerabilities, define mitigations, and establish operational guardrails for privileged-access workflows
- Shaping the long-term platform vision for identity primitives that unlock new business verticals and integrate across Coinbase's custodial product suite
Required experience includes 5+ years of product management with at least 2 years focused on identity, authentication, enterprise SaaS, or platform products. You should have a proven track record shipping RBAC, SSO, MFA, or provisioning systems at scale in B2B or multi-tenant environments, with demonstrated ability to translate complex security and technical requirements into clear product strategies and intuitive user experiences. Experience leading launches spanning security, privacy, legal, compliance, and customer-support stakeholders is essential. Fluency in identity protocols and concepts (OAuth, SAML, OIDC, SCIM, session management, domain ownership) is required without needing hands-on engineering ownership. The role expects responsible use of generative AI while maintaining human oversight.
