Kraken, one of the world's longest-standing crypto platforms with over 10 million users, is seeking a Product Manager II to own the product strategy, roadmap, and delivery for fraud prevention and account takeover (ATO) solutions.
In this role, you will lead end-to-end delivery of fraud features from discovery and design through implementation and launch. You'll own the product strategy for fraud solutions, including a major project to revamp case management for fraud and ATO detection. You will collaborate closely with Engineering teams to define technical specifications, APIs, workflows, and operational processes. Working across Legal, Fraud Strategy, Risk, and Operations teams, you'll ensure products meet compliance requirements across jurisdictions while protecting users from fraud and supporting investigations without disrupting legitimate client activity.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning product strategy and roadmap for fraud solutions
- Leading end-to-end delivery of fraud features from discovery through launch
- Collaborating with Engineering to define technical specifications and workflows
- Working with Legal, Fraud Strategy, and Ops teams to ensure jurisdictional compliance
- Partnering with external vendors to define integration scope and technical requirements
- Building systems that support investigations and risk detection while minimizing friction for legitimate users
- Prioritizing initiatives that improve monitoring coverage, attribution accuracy, alerting quality, and operational efficiency
You bring 4+ years of Product Management experience, preferably in fraud, crypto, trading platforms, or financial infrastructure. You have a strong understanding of fraud processes and infrastructure, experience with institutional trading products or financial market infrastructure, and the ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, legal, finance, compliance, and external vendors. You're skilled at managing API-based integrations with third-party providers and translating complex technical systems into clear product requirements and roadmaps.
Nice-to-have qualifications include familiarity with ATO or identity management, case management automation leveraging AI, and experience with legal, compliance, or traditional finance regulations.
