Founded in 2011 and headquartered in NYC with 2,000+ employees globally, AlphaSense acquired Tegus in 2024 to expand its content and product capabilities. The Content organization, reporting to the Chief Content Officer, is responsible for identifying, creating, licensing, and integrating best-in-class unstructured and structured data. The team is experiencing rapid growth across all content verticals, particularly in Transactions and Funding Rounds. As Product Manager I, you will have functional ownership of components of the Transactions content pipeline, including M&A deals and Rounds of Funding. Key responsibilities include: • Oversee key aspects of content generation and integration: initial business requirements, sourcing, methodology, policies, and data integrity processes • Conduct POCs in close collaboration with engineering to understand and optimize costs, automation, and timelines for implementation and ongoing content operations • Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews to assess progress, address challenges, and identify growth opportunities • Lead successful content launches into the market, including creation of announcements, marketing collateral, documentation, user training, and internal training • Serve as escalation point for data integrity and methodology issues • Track industry trends and deliver competitive intelligence to evolve product vision This role requires managing geographically dispersed teams and stakeholders in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You will work iteratively using agile development methodologies, from requirements gathering through release. REQUIREMENTS: • 10+ years of experience in content strategy, product, or operations related to financial data, with at least 5 years of product or process managerial experience. Strong preference for candidates with specific experience in transactions and valuations. • Expertise in investment research and analysis; first-hand knowledge of company valuation techniques and financial reporting. • Hands-on leadership in designing, building, and maintaining production-grade, scale reference database frameworks. Proficiency with Claude Code or database query language (e.g., SQL) is a must. • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities with a results-oriented mindset applicable to conceptualization, research, and development of new content sets and functionality. • Track record of thriving in fast-paced, dynamic environments, managing multiple priorities and geographically dispersed teams and stakeholders effectively. • Repeated successful delivery of content and related functionality from initial requirements gathering to release using iterative/agile development methodologies. • Superior ability to set priorities, stay focused, and meet deadlines. • Master's in Commerce degree with strong academic record. Chartered Accountant or Chartered Financial Analyst certification is a significant plus.
