Jerry is a fintech platform that simplifies car and home ownership by consolidating insurance, repairs, financing, and maintenance into a single app. Founded in 2019, the company has grown to 5M+ customers, raised $240M+, and achieved profitability in early 2024. The company operates a car insurance marketplace working with 100+ carriers, with 60% of policies sold automatically and 90% of inquiries resolved via AI.
The Growth team owns the entire customer sign-up and purchase funnel for the car insurance marketplace. As a Product Manager on this team, you will report directly to the VP of Growth with visibility to the C-suite. The role involves two phases: Phase 1 focuses on learning PM fundamentals and developing deep understanding of funnel performance through structured product walkthroughs, user feedback synthesis, and bug triage. Phase 2 involves leading end-to-end delivery of product initiatives, A/B testing, and translating customer problems into clear requirements.
Key responsibilities include conducting user journey mapping, monitoring feedback from reviews and support tickets, driving bug resolution with engineering, launching features (landing pages, compliance-driven features), designing experiments, and collaborating across Design, Engineering, Analytics, and Marketing teams.
The Growth team is small (3 PMs total) with significant scope and ownership. The company operates on weekly sprints with a fast-shipping culture—products that take 6-12 months elsewhere launch in 1-2 months. There is a non-negotiable time zone constraint: you must maintain 3-4 hours of daily overlap with China business hours for engineering coordination.
You should be a structured problem solver comfortable with ambiguity, diligent in follow-through, genuinely curious about customer psychology, and a strong communicator across functions and time zones. Required qualifications: 2+ years in management consulting, product management, or product/business operations; strong analytical skills; track record of owning ambiguous problems; excellent written and verbal communication.
