Jerry is a fintech platform that simplifies car and home ownership by consolidating insurance, repairs, financing, and maintenance into a single app. Founded in 2019, the company has grown to 5M+ customers, raised $240M+, and achieved profitability in early 2024. The company operates a marketplace with 100+ insurance carriers and uses AI/automation to handle 60% of policy sales and 90% of customer inquiries without human intervention.
The Growth team owns the entire customer acquisition and purchase funnel for Jerry's core car insurance marketplace product. As a Product Manager on this team, you will drive how millions of people discover, evaluate, and become Jerry customers. The role reports directly to the VP of Growth with visibility to the C-suite.
In Phase 1 (first few months), you will develop a deep understanding of funnel performance through structured product walkthroughs, user journey mapping, and friction point identification. You will synthesize customer feedback from reviews, support tickets, and research into actionable insights. You will also own bug triage and quality prioritization with the engineering team.
In Phase 2, you will lead end-to-end delivery of product initiatives, starting with well-scoped launches like landing pages and compliance features, then expanding scope. You will contribute to A/B testing and experiment design, partner with Design and Engineering to ship balanced experiences, and translate customer problems into clear hypotheses and requirements.
The Growth team is small (3 PMs total) with significant surface area, requiring scrappy execution but offering substantial ownership and scope. The company operates on weekly sprints with a fast-shipping culture—products that take 6-12 months elsewhere launch in 1-2 months here.
Key constraint: The engineering team is partly based in China, requiring 3-4 hours of daily overlap with China business hours. This is non-negotiable.
You should be a structured problem solver comfortable with ambiguity, diligent in follow-through, intrinsically curious about customer psychology, and a strong communicator across engineering, design, analytics, and marketing. You bring 2+ years in management consulting, product management, or product/business operations, with strong analytical skills, a track record of owning ambiguous problems, and excellent written/verbal communication.
