Octopus Energy is Britain's largest energy supplier, built on a foundation of digital-first technology and customer obsession. The company is scaling globally and accelerating the green energy transition through innovative products spanning heat pumps, solar, EVs, smart tariffs, and renewable generation.
You'll own the product direction for key areas of Octopus's global mobile app, which serves millions of customers across multiple countries. This is a hands-on role where you'll be fully embedded with engineering and design teams, shaping product strategy and execution. You'll navigate a complex stakeholder landscape, coordinate across country teams to balance local market needs with a unified global product vision, and operate at startup velocity despite the company's scale.
Key responsibilities include:
- Defining and owning product direction for assigned mobile app areas
- Collaborating closely with engineers and designers to shape what gets built and how
- Coordinating across regional teams to align local requirements with global strategy
- Shipping features that meaningfully improve customer experience
- Working cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and data teams
- Measuring impact and iterating based on real-world customer feedback
You'll have genuine ownership and autonomy to drive products that lower customer bills, enable greener living, and deliver experiences customers love.
