Nango (YC W23) is hiring its first Product Manager to shape how AI agents and applications connect to external APIs. The company has 500+ paying customers including Monday, ServiceNow, Replit, and Ramp, and is backed by a 14-person team with deep experience from AWS, GitHub, Okta, Snyk, Netlify, Uber, and other leading tech companies.
You will work directly with the founders, particularly the co-founder and Chief Product Officer, owning product areas from discovery through launch and iteration. Your responsibilities include talking to customers to inform product direction, researching the agent ecosystem and competitive landscape, identifying and developing new product opportunities from zero to one, and partnering with engineering and design to ship quickly.
You will define success metrics, evaluate shipped products, make prioritization decisions with incomplete information, coordinate launches with marketing and sales, and contribute to Nango's broader product strategy and roadmap.
The ideal candidate has a programming background (education or professional experience), understands developers and has built products for technical users, is comfortable reasoning about APIs, SDKs, and software architecture, and has taken products or features from idea to real usage. You should talk to customers regularly, let evidence shape decisions, combine strong product judgment with bias toward action, and communicate clearly across engineering, design, and go-to-market functions. You move quickly and create structure without waiting for perfect information.
Bonus qualifications include experience with developer tools, infrastructure, or AI products; understanding of product-led growth, pricing, or packaging; and interest in founding a company one day. This is an in-person role in San Francisco and a central position at the forefront of AI and agent infrastructure.
