Salary: USD 175,000 - 215,000 / annual
Turing is seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead strategy, roadmap, and execution for back-office operations platforms, with a focus on fund controller accounting and global business finance. This role partners closely with business stakeholders, engineering, and operations teams to modernize back-office platforms and improve operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities include owning the product vision and roadmap for Operations & Controls platforms; leading product discovery to understand business problems, operational workflows, and stakeholder requirements; partnering with back-office operations, controllers, finance, and technology teams to improve processes; driving modernization initiatives in fund control accounting, workflow automation, and operational reporting; building and managing the product backlog with prioritized features based on business value; coordinating delivery across engineering, architecture, and business stakeholders; tracking milestones, dependencies, risks, and progress; promoting transparency and stakeholder communication; identifying opportunities where AI and automation can improve productivity and operational efficiency; and ensuring solutions meet governance, audit, and operational control requirements.
Required qualifications include 5+ years as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or Senior Business Analyst in Financial Services; strong experience supporting back-office operations, fund controllers, and finance operations; fund accounting domain literacy with hands-on exposure to fund accounting/admin platforms and exception management; experience building or enhancing corporate back-office platforms and operational systems; demonstrated ability translating fund control requirements (NAV integrity, cash/position break resolution, controller sign-off workflows) into product specs and acceptance criteria satisfying audit and governance standards; excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration; proven ability managing product roadmaps, planning, prioritization, and execution; strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills; familiarity with AI tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini) and understanding where AI can improve operational workflows (hands-on AI development not required); and ability working effectively with engineering teams understanding modern software delivery practices.
Preferred qualifications include experience with platforms such as Geneva/SS&C, Eagle, Advent, or Paxus; experience with fund administrators or investment operations teams; Agile product delivery experience; and exposure to workflow automation, cloud platforms, or modern enterprise applications.
